Firework Scholarship Program 2027
Fireworks Scholarship Program
We are now accepting applications through November 30, 2026!
The 911der Women Fireworks Scholarship is dedicated to the memory of Wendy Day, whom we lost to cancer in 2019. Her spirit and her legacy remain part of our work every day. This scholarship exists to carry her spark forward β helping women in the 9-1-1 community light their own fire and grow into the leaders they're capable of becoming.
The Fireworks Scholarship is a reimbursement program made possible with the support of the Motorola Solutions Foundation and private donors. 911der Women will award scholarships to women working in 911 to complete one of seven 911-centered training programs. Scholarships provide 75 percent of tuition costs and up to $1,500 for travel and lodging for select programs, as identified below.
